Miniature STEM trestles can be utilised in various settings to engage learners and promote the development of critical THINKING AND PRACTICAL skills. For example, they can be incorporated within classroom education to enhance practical application.

 They can be used at STEM workshops, career fairs and events. Organisations interested in promoting STEM education may also use our miniature trestles in an outreach programme to foster practical skills in engineering, construction and problem-solving.

Within these uses, the miniature STEM trestles can be assembled individually or in groups to encourage team building, and employed in different ways; either in timed challenges or to measure how the task is approached.

The miniature STEM trestles were developed as a concept for National Manufacturing Day which involved local Schools visiting Acres Engineering to participate in a range of STEM activities, including the assembly of a Metal Poppy. Since then, the miniature trestles have been used at TechxFest, aimed to inspire the next wave of technicians.
